Mildred "Sandy" Mcdonald

Mrs. Mildred "Sandy" McDonald, 70, died peacefully at home on Friday, February 21, 2014. She was born June 15, 1943 in Gaston County to the late Clyde Hunter Stone and Mabel Sherrill Adair. Mildred was preceded in death by her father and mother, husband, Phillip McDonald, two sisters, Joan Stone and Betty Gladden, brother, James Mason Stone and her son, Christopher Lee Gosnell. She will forever be loved by those of us that are left behind. She is survived by her two daughters, Julie Escobar and Dana Grant, both of Gastonia, her sister Judy Osment of Kings Mountain, brother Clyde "Junior" Stone of Gastonia; grandchildren, Darlene Webb, Brandon Gosnell and his wife, Mary Beth Gosnell, Kimberly Gosnell, Zachary Escobar, Autumn Grant, Adela Escobar and Peyton Grant, two great grandchildren, Rachel and Adrian McDaniel. A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, February 28, 2014 at Holland Memorial Baptist Church, 123 Holland Memorial Church Rd. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
