Mildred Catherine Fincher

Mildred Catherine Fincher, 92, of Gaston Manor, Gastonia, passed away October 3, 2014 at Gaston Memorial Hospital. A native of Gaston County, She was born October 7, 1921, daughter of the late Clyde Reynolds, and Minnie Black Reynolds. She retired from Wix Corporation after 37 years of employment. She was also a member of Rankin Lake Baptist Church. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the employees at Gaston Manor and special friends, Faye Lefler, Ruby Bingham and Helen Miller. A funeral service will be held at 3 pm Monday at Rankin Lake Baptist Church, 2705 Dallas Hwy. Dallas, NC 28034. Officiated by, Rev. Jim Loftis. The visitation will be held 2-3 pm prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park Cemetery, Gastonia. Mildred is survived by her son, Jimmy Fincher and wife Teresa of Gastonia; daughter, Becky Lefler and husband Jeff , of Gastonia; daughter-in-law, Linda Fincher, Gastonia; brothers, Vernon Reynolds of Georgia; Earl Reynolds and wife Margaret,of Hildabrand, NC; grandchildren, Craig and Jason Fincher, Scott Lefler, Ashley Fincher; and five great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by, her husband Walter Fincher; and son, Benny Fincher. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Rankin Lake Baptist Church, 2705 Dallas Highway. Dallas, NC 28034.
