Mildred "Midge" Anthony

Mildred "Midge "Anthony, 80, of Kings Mountain, passed away on June 20, 2014 at The Robin Johnson Hospice House, Dallas. She was born January 25, 1934 in Chattanooga, TN, daughter of the late Jess Prince and Lillian Campbell Prince. Mrs. Anthony attended Westview Baptist Church, Gastonia. A funeral service will be held 12:00 noon on Monday at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd., Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Jerry Millwood. The family will receive friends 6:00 -8:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City. Mrs. Anthony is survived by: son, Randy Anthony; daughter, Tammy Ohlinger and husband Kevin; brother, Melvin Prince; sister, Louise Mitchem and husband Roger; grandchildren, Jada Anthony , Shannon Ohlinger and wife Alysia; great grandchildren, Justin and Tyler Short, Addyson and Alayna Ohlinger. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: her husband, Ardus Anthony; son, Steven Anthony; five brothers; four sisters. Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
