Mike Wolfe

Mike Wolfe, 81, of Bessemer City, passed away on September 26, 2021, at his home.

He was born September 5, 1940, in Gaston County, son of the late Lawrence Abernathy Wolfe Sr. and Elizabeth Coble Wolfe.

Mike was a life long and active member of First United Methodist Church in Bessemer City, where he taught Sunday School.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, October 1, 2021, at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Tripp Hord.

The family will receive friends following the graveside service.

Mike is survived by his son, Joel Wolfe (Dana); grandchildren, Mallory Wolfe, Jacob Wolfe.

In addition to Michael's parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jean Wolfe; brother, Ab Wolfe Jr.; sister, Katherine Wolfe.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to First United Methodist Church, 110 W. Alabama Ave. Bessemer City, NC 28016.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, Gastonia.
