Mike Phillips

Mike Phillips, 46, of Gastonia, passed away on October 20, 2012 at his home. He was born January 29, 1966 in Gaston County to the late Dennis Gary Phillips and Ruth Beatrice Mason Phillips. Mike was the greatest father, brother and friend to everyone he knew. In the wrestling world he was known as "Mike Star" A memorial service to celebrate Mike's life will be 2:00 on Friday at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd., Gastonia officiated by Rev. Charles Russell. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home. Interment will be private. Mr. Phillips is survived by: son, Michael Malachai Williams; brother, Greg Phillips and wife Misty; sisters, Angela Phillips and husband Lewis, Denise Glasgow; grandchild, Garrett Williams; nieces, Aimee Cook , Lacee Glasgow; nephews, Clark Nalley, Kyle, Brandon and Damian Phillips.
