Mike Messer

Mike Messer, 62, of Gastonia, passed away, October 5, 2014, at his home. He was born September 17, 1952, in Gaston County, son of the late Strawder Messer and Anna Pearl Martin Messer. Mike is survived by his loving wife, Songkran "Dang" Messer; brothers and sisters, Robert and Barbara Messer; Shirley Turner, Ruth Seagle, Anna Chambers, Houston and Toni Messer, Donnie and Laura Messer and many nieces and nephews. In addition to parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, J.D. Messer and brother-in-law, Johnnie Turner. A memorial service will be held 4 pm on Tuesday at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 South York Rd. Gastonia, officiating Rev. Robin Harris. The family will receive friends 2:00-3:45pm before the service at the Funeral Home. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: Faith Baptist Church, 1102 W.
