Miguel Angel Rivera

Miguel Angel Rivera, 87, of Gastonia, passed away at home on May 17, 2020.

He was born October 8, 1932 in Cidra, Puerto Rico, to the late Pedro and Carmen Santos Rivera.

Mr. Rivera was a veteran of the U.S. Army.  He also owned his own television repair shop.  Mike was an active member of the Jehovah Witnesses for 55 years, who valued his family and relationship with Jehovah God above all.  He loved sharing God's kingdom with others and could always be counted on to offer an encouraging scripture.

Miguel is survived by his wife Epifania Santiago Rivera; sons, Miguel A Rivera, Jr., William Rivera, Richard Rivera, and Wilfredo Rivera; daughters, Alicia Rivera Neirs and Myriam Rivera Mangual; several brothers and sisters; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, East Spanish Congregation located at 2065 Overhead Bridge Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.
