Michael Anthony Wooten

Michael Anthony Wooten, 55, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022, at his residence.

He was born March 5, 1967, in Gaston Co, NC, son of Kenneth Wooten and Jacqueline Conner Wooten.

Michael was a member of Chapel Grove Baptist Church, where he was involved in Mission Trips to Honduras and serving the Lord. He was a current employee at Stabilus. He loved fishing and spending time with his wife shopping.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 23 years, Precilla Lewis Wooten; step-son, Thomas Jason Lewis (Stephanie); step-daughter, Amanda Dawn Hurdt; brother, Gregory Kenneth Wooten (Lisa); sister, Christy Elizabeth Drum (Jeff); grandmother, Lucy Weaver; aunt, Jessie McSwain; brothers-in-law, James Reynolds (Jodi), and Timothy Reynolds; sister-in-law, Rebecca Waters (Steve); nieces, Alex Grellner (Michael), and Logan Drum; nephew, Tyler Drum; grandchild, Carter Lewis; step-grandchild, Adelynn Ryder; and mother-in-law, Frances Reynolds.

A memorial service officiated by Pastor Seth Barkley and Rev. Roger Overton, will be held 2pm on Sunday, March 13, 2022, at Chapel Grove Baptist Church - 716 Camp Rotary Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052 .

Family will receive friends following the service at the church.
