Michael Ray Wiggins

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael "Mike" Ray Wiggins, who left us on June 18, 2026, at the age of 58. Born on March 12, 1968, in Gaston County, North Carolina, Michael called Gastonia home, where he lived a life filled with love and connection.

Mike was a devoted family man, cherished by his mother, Marcella Wiggins; wife, Ashley Wiggins; son, Damon Wiggins (Peyton); brother, Tony Wiggins (Sherry); nieces and nephew, Taylor Wiggins, Allyson Wiggins, and Jacob Wiggins. He had a big heart and a passion for life that resonated with everyone who knew him.

Mike was preceded in death by father, Billy Wiggins.

Mike was an member of the Pisgah ARP Church, where his spirit and kindness touched many lives. He had been a past master of King Solomon Masonic Lodge #704 and was currently part of Gaston Lodge #369, where he fostered lifelong friendships and a sense of community.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 21, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at Greene Funeral Service South Chapel, where family and friends can come together to celebrate Mike's remarkable life. The funeral service will follow on Monday, June 22, 2026, at 12:00 PM, at the Pisgah ARP Church, 3600 Linwood Rd, Gastonia, NC, 28052, allowing all who loved him to pay their respects. After the service, Mike will be laid to rest at the church Cemetery, a final farewell to a man who was a pillar of strength and love in the lives of so many. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
