Michael "Tiny" Tilley

Michael "Tiny" Tilley, 69, of Ranlo, NC, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021, at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

A native of Gaston County, he was born on December 13, 1951, to the late Willie and Flotella Tilley.

Tiny had the kindest heart and loved spending time with his family and friends.

Tiny was preceded in death by his parents, brother Bill Tilley, Sr.; nephew, Gary Hale; and great great nephew, Eli McCoy.

Tiny is survived by his sisters, Shirley Walker (Jerry), Judy Waters, and Darlene Wall; sister-in-law, Dale Tilley; nieces and nephews, Jeff Walker, Candy Shannon, Bill Tilley Jr., Jimmy Hale, Bruce Hale, Sherry Mcalister, Tammy Walls, Ashley Carson, Randy Wall, Jeffery Miller; 19 great nieces and nephews, 15 great great nieces and nephews; and longtime neighbor and friend, Frances Ledford.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, November 12, 2021, at Ranlo Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Jeremy Carson and Rev. Steve Shannon officiating.

The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the church.

Inurnment will follow the service at Gaston Memorial Park.

The South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium is assisting the family.
