Michael Edward Ross Jr.

Michael Edward Ross Jr., 33, of Bessemer City, passed away December 17, 2023, at his home.

He was born September 30, 1990, in Lincoln County, son of the late Michael Edward Ross Sr. and Deborah Braswell Ross.

Michael attended First Baptist Church in Kings Mountain and loved the Lord wholeheartedly.

He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and work with his hands when he wasn't spending time with his children and family.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm. Saturday, December 23, 2023, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Road Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Aaron Bridges

The family will receive friends 1-2 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

The burial will be at Westview Gardens in Bessemer City.

Michael is survived by daughters, Kemberlynn Ross, Bellamy Jenkins; sisters, Missy Gill (Curtis), Brandi Morris (Derek), Joanie Gregory (Andy) Emily Ross (Gareth); special friends, James and Tennille Ruhl and many adoring nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Hamrick.

The family would like to give sincere thanks to Michael's employer Charah Solutions for their support during this heartbreaking time.
