Michael R. Robinson

Michael R. Robinson, was born in Gastonia, December 24, 1949 and he passed away on December 22, 2020, at his home

He was the son of William R. Robinson, a building contractor and veteran of WWII where he served with the US Merchant Marines. His mother Nancy Pennington Robinson was a loving wife and served at various schools especially the retired Myrtle Elementary School.

Mr. Robinson was married to his loving wife Carolyn Falls Robinson for 51 years. They both were graduates of Appalachian State University in Boone, NC, and taught 5 ^th and 6 ^th grade at York Chester and Arlington Elementary serving as team teachers. The kids loved Mr. Robinson's stories.

After retiring from teaching school after 20 years Mr. Robinson traveled nationwide with his daughter, Holly as she prepared for her singing career in Christian Music.

Mr. Robinson is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Carolyn Falls Robinson.  his two wonderful children, Holly and Ritchie; his son-in-law, Matt. He was blessed with four wonderful grandchildren, Rylie, Coleman, Preston and Nevaeh; his precious yorkie, Paisley.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at Westview Gardens, 1123 Edgewood Rd. Bessemer City, officiated by Pastor Sherman Branch and Rev. Scott Whitener.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
