Michael Ray Rhyne

Michael Ray Rhyne, 42, of Gastonia went home peacefully on October 3, 2021.

He was born December 6, 1978, in Gaston County.

Michael was employed by Dallas Electric for many years.

He loved working on all kinds of cars.

He loved being outdoors,  especially camping in the mountains.

He was a very special son and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anybody.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 pm Friday, October 8, 2021, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Keith Walker and Pastor Zach Plemmons.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Michael is survived by his son, Seth Michael Rhyne; his parents, Doodle and Sissy Rhyne; brothers, Jason Barker, Bo Rhyne; three very special nieces, Adrianna Barker, Skylar Barker, Peyton Lyerly; fiancée, Christy Helton; mother of Seth, Rachel Rhyne and numerous special cousins.

Michael was preceded in death by his brother, David Rhyne; special pet companions, Carmen and Daisy.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, Gastonia.
