Michael "Danny" Mangan

Michael "Danny" Mangan, 51, of Charlotte, NC, passed away July 12, 2020 in Charlotte, NC.

He was born in Mecklenburg County, NC on November 30, 1968 to Marilyn Lachman Stroup and the late Michael William Mangan.

In addition to his father, Michael was preceded in death by his stepmother, Brenda Grant Mangan and stepbrother, Lowell "Gene" Bowles.

In addition to his mother, Michael is survived by his stepfather, Ronnie Stroup; son, Michael Brandon Mangan; daughter, Jessica Danielle Mangan and husband Zack Allen; brother, Sean Mangan and wife Jennie; sisters, Kim Mangan Tucker and husband Randy, and Tonda Bowles Caudle and husband Dean Rappe; grandchildren, Jaylen Mangan, Brayden Mangan, and Ezra Allen; and several nieces and nephews.

A gathering of friends and family will be held at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.  At the family's request, face masks are required and visitors are asked to practice social distancing.

In lieu of flowers, donations are to be made to the "End of Life Fund", c/o Kim Tucker (sister), 1926 Tom Sadler Road, Charlotte, NC 28214.
