Michael Hensley

Michael Bruce Hensley, 67, of Gastonia, passed away July 23, 2022, at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

He was born September 17, 1954, in Mingo County, West Virginia, son of the late James Hensley and Joanne Lawson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandchild, Micah Ewart; and brothers, Roger, David, and J.J. Hensley.

Michael deeply loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

Left to cherish his memories are his daughter, Mandie Ewart (Richard); brothers Gary and Danny Hensley; sisters, Dolores Metz and Debbie Daft; grandchildren, Nathan, Hallie, Micahla Ewart; and fur baby, Dixie.

A graveside service officiated by Rev. Mike Brewer and Rev. Malachi Brewer, will be held 10am, Thursday, July 28, 2022, at Evergreen Cemetery Mausoleum, Belmont, NC.

Memorials may be made to, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital - 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
