Michael Thomas Goins

Michael Thomas Goins, 55, of Cherryville passed away April 5, 2013 at his home. He was born October 10, 1957 in Gaston County, son of Nellie Brackett Goins and the late George Goins. A funeral service will be held 3:00 pm Sunday April 7, 2013 at Pisgah A.R.P. Church, Gastonia officiated by Rev. Rick Lewis. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City. Mr. Goins is survived by: his wife, Kathy Clark Goins; step son, Heath Parsons of Gastonia; daughters, Summers Goins of Lincolnton, Tavia McCarter of Bessemer City; sister, Angie Creighton and spouse Blair of Bessemer City; grandchildren, Andrew and Meadow Parsons. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by: the mother of his child, Theresa Goins. Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
