Michael Scotty England

Michael "Scotty" England, 59, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022

He was born January 5, 1963, in Mecklenburg County, NC to the late James Roy and Brenda McCameron England.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a special niece, Crystal Walker.

Scotty was a hard worker and an avid hunter. He worked as a metal fabricator for Gough Econ in Charlotte, NC.  He was a good provider and always took care of his family. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed restoring his truck.

Scotty is survived by his loving wife of almost 39 years, Jimie England, sons; Michael J. England (Adriana) and Matthew Scott England (Kelly), sisters; Kathy Campbell (Mark), Wanda Pleasant, Vicky Williams (Joey), Linda Gann (Rickey), Susan Huffstetler (Craig), seven grandchildren; Mackenzie, Savannah, Trisha, Breahna, Trayven, Caleb, Grayson, special uncle; Steve McCameron and many aunts, special friends; Tony Miller and Rickey Cooke.

A funeral service officiated by Rev. Sam Barnette, will be held Sunday, August 21, 2022, at 1pm at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Evergreen in Belmont, NC.
