Michael Walter Cavell

Michael Walter Cavell was a beloved husband and father. He worked as a Sound Engineer for Films, TV, and Music for 30+ years. Michael passed away on April 9, 2025, at the age of 67. Born on February 8, 1958, in Alabama, Michael spent many years creating a life filled with music, love, and laughter in Gastonia, NC.

Michael absolutely cherished time spent in the kitchen, cooking up delicious meals for his family and friends. He leaves behind his loving wife, Mary Cavell, and his three sons, Michael, Jacob, and Stephen, along with his cherished daughter, Rachel.

Michael Cavell will be deeply missed by friends and family.

A memorial service will be held this Sunday, April 13th, 6:30pm, at 2226 Shaw Avenue, Gastonia, NC - Freedom Church.
