Michael Shane Carroll

Michael Shane Carroll, 48, of Clover, SC, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024, at his residence.

He was born in Gastonia, NC, on November 2, 1975, to James and Betty Carroll.

Michael loved his family; he was so proud of his children. He would help anybody. He enjoyed working on cars, including installing stereo systems.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Julia Chastain, who was like a mother to him.

Michael is survived by his parents, James and Betty Carroll; wife, Amy Carroll; sons, Nate Brown, Toby Carroll, Daniel Carroll; daughter, MacKenzie-Ann Carroll; sister, Tammy Badger (Dennis Jr.); nephews, Max Johnson, Collin Johnson.

A funeral service officiated by Reverend Jim Sawyer, will be held Wednesday, February 14, 2024, 2:00 PM, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.

The family will receive friends from 1 – 2:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.

The burial will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.
