Michael Shane Cagle

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Shane Cagle, a devoted husband, proud Marine, loving father, cherished grandfather, and faithful servant of God. Michael departed this life surrounded by love and family, leaving behind a legacy of strength, compassion, and unwavering generosity.

Born with a heart of gold and a deep sense of purpose, Michael dedicated his life to serving others. As a United States Marine, he served his country with honor, courage, and dignity-values he carried into every aspect of his life. Beyond his service, Michael was a rock for his family and a beacon of kindness to all who knew him.

Michael's life was defined by his love for God and for others. Whether it was lending a helping hand, offering words of encouragement, or simply being there when needed most, he gave selflessly and wholeheartedly. His warm smile and giving spirit touched countless lives.

He is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Susan Cagle, and their blended family, including his children Chrisy, Christopher, and Heather, and his beloved stepchildren. Michael was a proud grandfather to Khalib, Kenzie, Violet, McKaylee, Charlotte, Nova, Kyrie, Bella, and Koby-each of whom brought immense joy and pride into his life.

Michael is preceded in death by his mother, Louise, and his nephew, Rodney, both of whom he held dear.

He is survived by his father, Billy (Aliene), and sister, Carrie, who will continue to carry his memory in their hearts.

Michael Shane Cagle lived a life of honor, love, and faith. His legacy will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him. Though he may be gone from our sight, he will never be gone from our hearts.

A celebration of Michael's life will be held on October 23rd, at 4PM at Ranlo Church of God. Instead of flowers, the family asks that acts of kindness be done in his memory-just as he lived his life.
