Meredith Briggs Fallow

Meredith Briggs Fallow, 64, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Friday, September 10, 2021, at her residence.

She was born August 19, 1957, in Essex Co, MA, daughter of the late Herbert Alfred Briggs and Claire Frances Doherty.

Meredith adored her children, all of her animals from her Irish setters, persian cats, to her horse "Spring Fever". She particularly loved her latest persian, "Tiramasu". Her passion for teaching special needs children and love for her foster care children was contagious and she shared it by training folks to become licensed foster care parents. Her adored daddy instilled in her a love of football. A lifelong fan of the Packers and Panthers, she would be hoarse for days after cheering them on. She was proud of her Irish heritage and was emerald green thorough and through. She loved the water from Robinwood Lake to the ocean, sun on her face and toes in the sand. She was a lioness, a mermaid and a rocker chick rolled into one. She put the "V" in Green Wave. Go Ashbrook. Class of 75.

She is survived by her fiancé, Dean Gardner; son, Kieran Fallow; daughters, Siobhan Fallow, Aoibheann Testerman and Bryan, and Caoilfhionn Fallow; and grandchildren, Emery Testerman and Ardyn Testerman.

Family will receive friends 5-7pm on Friday, September 17, 2021, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.

All other services are private.
