Melody "Mel" Ann Davidson

Melody (Mel) Ann Davidson, 48, of Gastonia Passed Away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

Born September 16, 1973, In York County, SC. Mel was the daughter of the late Franklin Delano Davidson and Ann Rosetta Davidson.

Mel was a very caring and loving person she never met a stranger and she helped anyone she could. She loved gardening and flowers, owls, Butterflies but most of all she loved her family.

"Mama was one of the strongest women we knew and she will forever be loved".

Left to cherish Melody's memories are her children, Breanna D. Davidson, Yesenia D. Davidson, Nicolas C. Davidson, Joaquin D. Davidson and Jose G. Davidson; brother, Timothy Davidson; sister-in-law, Renee Davidson; nephews, Robert Davidson, Jeremy "Andy" Davidson, and Eric Davidson; and numerous cousins.

The Family will receive friends from 11:00am-12:00pm before the service on Saturday at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service - 1503 S York Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052.

Graveside service officiated by Pastor Milton Smith, will be held at 12:30pm on Saturday January 15,2022 at Woodside Cemetery in Clover, SC.

The Family asks that masks and Social Distancing be practiced at the services.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
