Melissa Cauthen Hillard, 42, of Mt. Holly, NC, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at her residence.
She was born June 14, 1979, a native of Gaston Co, NC, daughter of Richard Walter Cauthen and the late Cheryl Rhyne.
In addition to her father, Melissa is survived by her sons, Jeremiah Hilliard, and Christian Hilliard; daughter, Hailey Hedgecoe; brother, Daniel Cauthen; sisters, Stephanie Cauthen and Tabitha Cauthen; stepsister, Shirley Carlin and husband Lloyd; stepbrother, Joshua Hilliard; and four grandchildren.
In addition to her mother, Melissa is preceded in death by her stepmother, Betty Cauthen.
