Melinda "Lynn" Michelle Jordan

Melinda "Lynn" Michelle Jordan passed away December 2, 2024 at the age of 45.

She was born to Doris Orr and Albert Jordan in Bryson City, N.C. on March 13, 1979. She was a native to Graham County and resident of Bessemer City, N.C.

Lynn had a joyous spirit, a contagious laugh, and a radiant smile. She is remembered as a mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Lynn was admired for her ability to love graciously despite life's circumstances.

She is survived by her four children, River Cian, Andrew Payne, Nathan Jordan, and Cody Jordan; along with two sisters, Kristen Orr and Melanie Llaza; and a brother, Robert Jordan. She had recently learned she was expecting a new grandchild, whom she would have spoiled and adored. Lynn leaves behind many other nieces, nephews, aunts and loved ones.

Lynn cherished spending time with her family. She was an animal lover. She enjoyed reading, traveling, snacking, and making others laugh.

There will be a small church service for friends and family with dates to be announced in Gaston County. Following the service her ashes will be taken to Lone Oak Cemetery in Robbinsville N.C. She will be placed beside her mother, Doris Orr; and grandparents, John Cecil and Mary Sue Orr, who proceeds her in death.
