Mckinley "Mac" Davis

McKinley "Mac" Davis, 86, of Blacksburg, SC, passed away, Friday, May 25, 2018 at his residence.

Mac was born September 26, 1931, in Swain County, NC, son of the late Lucius Jones and Orbie Davis.

He was retired from Arnold Bakery, Gastonia.  He loved his family and music.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife of over 67 years Evelyn M. Davis; daughter, Cathy Clubb and husband Gary; son-in-law, Jimmy Norris; grandchildren, Angie Holley, Brian Clubb and wife Tammy; great grandchildren, Kya Holley (Justin Griffin) and Madison Stevenson, Stephen Clubb and wife Kelsey, Megan Clubb; great-great grandchildren, Blaikleh Phillips and Getch McKinley Griffin, Lilah Clubb.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter Debbie Norris; granddaughter Angel Keziah; sister, Geneva Ballenger.

The family will receive friends, Tuesday, May 29, 2018, from 12:30-1:30 at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd.  A graveside service will follow the visitation at 2:30 pm, at Gaston Memorial Park.  Pastor Quitman Hand will be officiating.
