Maxine Burgess Blanton

Maxine Burgess Blanton, 80, of Gastonia passed away on October 22, 2012 at Courtland Terrace, Gastonia. She was born November 2, 1931 in Gaston County daughter of the late Morris Burgess and Lillian Mobley Burgess. The family will receive friends 2:00 to 3:30 pm on Monday, November 5 at the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service. Interment will be private. Mrs. Blanton is survived by: son, Jeff Blanton of Gastonia; daughters, Susan Harrington and fiancee Wayne Groves of Kings Mountain, Elizabeth Carole Blanton; brothers, Max and Darrell Burgess; grandchildren, Eric Winters, Jacob Blanton, Sarah and Anna Harrington. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: her husband, Jake Blanton; 1 brother; 3 sisters.
