Max Rupert Sisk

Max Rupert Sisk, 76, of Dallas, passed away December 16, 2015 at his residence.

He was born June 3, 1939 in Rutherfordton the son of the late David and Rachel Sisk.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 60 years, Mary Sisk; son, Ronnie Sisk and Beth; daughters, Debbie Price and husband, Kenneth, Gaye McGee and Roger Hill, Judy Hartman and husband Terry, Patti Kennedy and husband Larry; brother, Jerry Sisk; sisters, Betty Flack and Virginia Cothran; grandchildren, Lori Glaze, Caleb Sisk, David Price, Jennifer Emrich, Jessica Beavers, Dr. Julie Hartman, Terry Hartman, Christy Reed, Kimberly Graham, Michael Kennedy and Amanda Johnson; great-grandchildren, Cora and Cori Sisk, Paisley Locker, Kelsey and Kailey Best, Megan and Lauren Price, Austin Beavers, Cameron and Hunter Reed, Savannah Kennedy, Parker and Patrick Emrich.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Dazel, Virgil and Bobby Sisk and sisters, Louise Lancaster, Grace Moore and Doris Sisk.

A funeral service will be held 1 pm Tuesday at Gospel Light Holiness Church, 104 Welch Avenue, Gastonia, officiated by the Rev. Jerry Willard.

The family will receive friends 6 – 8 pm Monday at the Church.

Burial will be in Gaston Memorial Park.
