Matthew John White

Matthew John White, 56, of Bessemer City, NC, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.

He was born December 17, 1965, a native of Gaston Co, NC, son of the late Gene Howell White and Betty Riley White.

Matthew worked as an inspector for City Fire & Safety for 20 years. Matthew enjoyed spending time with his family, cooking out, gardening, fishing, watching Carolina Panthers games, and spending time with his pets.

Matthew is survived by his wife of 27 years, Debra White; his children and their spouses Jasmine (Steven), Donnie (Melissa), Lisa and Leslie; his grandchildren Heather, Kloe and step granddaughter Samantha, three great-grandchildren, two sisters and three brothers.

A private gathering will be held Saturday, October 8th, 2022, at 4:30pm in Kings Mountain.
