Maryida "Louise" Queen Carringer, 76, of Dallas, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, January 13, 2022
A native of Gaston County, Louise was the daughter of the late J.T and Evelyn Penley Queen.
Louise was a member of Mt. Beulah Baptist Church. She loved her family and had a caring heart. In her spare time Louise enjoyed sewing. She was also a member of the Dallas Dazzlers Senior Dancers.
In addition to her parents, Louise is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Carringer; and special friend, Walt Costner.
Left to cherish Louise's memories are her sons, Ray Lambert (Deborah), and Matt Lambert (Kim); daughter, Shannon Payne (Ricky); brother, Johnny Queen (Judy); sisters, Beverly Golden, and Patsy Hopkins (Steve); grandchildren, Julie, Michael, Joshua, Jacob, Brittany, Zackary and Tyler; and 5 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service.
A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Doug Nab, will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service.
Interment to follow the service at Gaston Memorial Park.
The family asks that masks are worn, and social distancing be practiced at the services.
