Mary Sexton

Mary Ann Sexton, 68, of Gastonia, passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at the Robin Johnson House of Dallas.

She was born on March 16, 1953, in Gaston County, to the late Odell and Mamie Cope Sexton.

Mary enjoyed doing puzzles, playing board games, and watching Disney movies. She loved her family and fur babies, Tiger, Sheba and Ribbit, with all of her heart.

In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by 16 brothers and sisters.

Left to cherish Mary's memories are her husband, David "Roadrunner" Chandler; daughter, Crystal Allen and husband Charles, Jr.; and grandchildren, Blake Allen and wife Anna, and David Allen.

A funeral service, officiated by Rev. Richard Douglas, will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.

The family will receive an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Interment will be held at Westview Gardens in Bessemer City.
