Mary Owensby Ramsey

Mary Owensby Ramsey, 51, died peacefully at her home on June 12, 2017.

She was born August 13, 1965 in Gaston County the daughter of the late Melvin Owensby, Sr. and Mary Mathis McDonald.
Left to cherish her memories are her siblings, Annette Martin and husband; Wanda Snipes and children; Pam Smith, husband and children; Jerry Owensby; Doug Owensby; children, Felicia Ramsey and Joshua Ramsey, Jr.; grandchildren, Christopher Ramsey and Zariah Smith; special friends, Emily Withers(Sister-in-law/best friend); best friend, Gisela Hutton; significant other Michael Hutton; father of her children, Joshua Ramsey, Sr.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Owensby.

A gathering of friends and family will be held 6 - 8 pm Saturday at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.
