Mary Morrow

Mary Lee Grant Morrow, 74, of Gastonia, passed away on Sunday, May 9, 2021 at her residence.

She was born on December 14, 1946, in Hamilton County, Tn, to the late Harvey Lee and Effie Bernice Hollifield Grant.

Mary loved to talk about the Lord and witness to people she met. She had a deep love for her family. Mary loved to bring happiness to the people in her life by cooking meals, and making beautiful floral arrangements. She loved flowers, birds, and nature. She will be extremely missed by the people who loved her.

In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Morrow, and brother, Jack Ammons.

Left to cherish Mary's memories are her son, Don Morrow (Heather); daughters, Gloria Morrow, and Tammie Kimray (Rick); brother, Joe Ammons; sisters, Betty Burkett, and Sue Grant; and grandchildren, Lacie Kimray, Monica and Ravin Morrow.

A funeral service, officiated by Pastor James Chambers, Pastor Ravin Fields Jr., and Pastor Larry Morrow, will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Souls Harbor Tabernacle- 271 Camp Rotary Road, Gastonia, NC 28052.

The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the church.

Internment to follow the service at Gaston Memorial Park.
