Mary Heavner Mcdonald

Bessemer City, NC - Mary Heavner McDonald, 65, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at home. She was born June 14, 1948, to the late James and Esther Mae Heavner. She was preceded in death by her sister, Carol Williams; brothers, Kenneth and Ray Heavner and great-grandchild, Davion Alexander. Visitation will be 10 - 11:30 am on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Carolina Thunder, 4446 Chapel Grove Road, Gastonia, NC 28054 followed by a Graveside Service at Gaston Memorial Park at 12 noon, officiated by Chaplain James Herring. She is survived by her sons, Terry F. McDonald, Jr and wife, Teresa, Mark McDonald, Scott McDonald and Paul McDonald; daughters, JoAnn Christoper, Karen McAbee; fourteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and brother, Robert Heavner and wife, Pat. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
