Mary Lee Ramsey

Mary Lee Ramsey, 83, passed away September 6, 2012, at The Robin Johnson Hospice House, Dallas. She was born September 13, 1928 in Middlesboro, KY, daughter of the late Charles and Nola Whitmore Cantrell. Mrs. Ramsey was a member of Newlyn Street Methodist Church, Greensboro. A funeral service will be held 11 am on Monday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, officiated by Rev. Ted Smith. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church. The interment will be at Sharon Memorial Park, Charlotte. She is survived by: daughters, Terrie Little, Patsy McDowell; brother, Frank Cantrell; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: first husband, Kenneth C. Little and her second husband, Harold Ramsey; brother, J.C. Cantrell, Jack Cantrell; sisters, Nell Purcell, Lura Mae Purcell, Julia Christine Cochran. Memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice, P. O. Box 3984, Gastonia, NC 28054.
