Mary Jane Ledford Lowe

Mary Jane Ledford Lowe, 68, of Bessemer City, passed away on November 7, 2021, at her home.

She was born January 9, 1953, in Gaston County, daughter of the late Thomas Ledford and Ann Phillips Ledford.

Mary was a member of Long Creek Memorial Baptist Church, Dallas.

She worked as an RN with multiply organizations and her last employment was with Gaston-Lincoln Mental Health.

One of her most favorite things to do was spend time with her grandchildren and when she wasn't doing that, she loved to work in her flower garden.

A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Saturday ,November 13, 2021,  at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia, officiated by Rev. Fain Farmer.

The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.

Mary is survived by her loving husband, John Lowe Sr.; son, John Lowe Jr. (Miranda); daughter, Leslie Grissom (Ronnie); grandchildren, River, Ian and Ryder Grissom, Cody Whisnant; brothers-in-law, Milton Emory, Jeff Lowe (Karen), Frank Lowe II (Kathy); nephews, Woody Lowe (Kimberly), Jim Hanks (Amy), Andrew Lowe; nieces, Katie and Lindsay Lowe.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her sister Myra Emory.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to The Lowe Memorial Fund c/o of Greene Funeral Service, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia, NC 28052.
