Mary "Kathy" Hawkins
March 3, 1947 — July 21, 2021
Mary Kathryn "Kathy" Hawkins, 74, of Gastonia, passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at the Robin Johnson House.
She was born on March 3, 1947, in Gaston County, to the late Charles Grier and Medrea Whidden Hawkins.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her son, Charles Haney; and sisters, Patricia Hawkins Ruff and Alice Bickley.
Left to cherish Kathy's memories are her children, Loretta Faye Haney, Diane Haney, and Greg Haney; sisters, Charlene Guffey, and Angela Crisp; 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Sunday, August 1, 2021, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service.
