Mary "Sissie" Glenn Jenkins Parker, 91, of Gastonia, passed away March 15, 2016 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.
She was born March 10, 1925, a native of Gaston County, the daughter of the late J. Thomas and Maven Jenkins.
Left to cherish her memories are her children Beth Deaton, Joe, Jeff and Jim Parker all of Gastonia; sister, Helen Helms of Dallas; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Parker, brother Thomas Jenkins; sister Nell Rogers and grandson Jay Deaton.
All services will be private.
Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
