Mary Frances "Fran" Fox

Mary Frances "Fran" Fox, 93, of Gastonia, passed away November 12, 2017. She went home to be with the Lord on her birthday.
She was born, a native of Gaston County, the daughter of the late Walter James Fox and Dary Mauney Fox.
Fran was a charter member of Unity Baptist Church. She taught Sunday School and sang in the choir for many years. She loved her church and was very active for as long as she could be. She was a grandmother to many people at the church.
Left to cherish her memories are her sisters Aleen Falls and Libby Mabry and her husband Dean and 9 nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Eugene Fox and wife JoAnne; brother-in-law Jack Falls and nephew, Jerry Falls.
A funeral service will be held 2 pm Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Unity Baptist Church Sanctuary, officiated by Pastor Roger Mathis.
The visitation will be held 12 – 1:30 pm at the church in the Family Life Center.
Burial will be in Gaston Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Unity Baptist Church, 482 N. Myrtle School Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.
Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
