Mary Faye Johnson

Mary Faye Johnson, 76, of Gastonia, passed away February 18, 2014 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. She was born June 23, 1937 in Graham County, NC to the late Casie and Ruby Moore and later fostered by the late Wade and Ruth Holder of Robbinsville, NC She was preceded in death by her first husband Burl Adkins, late husband Richard Johnson, and son Richard "Richie" Johnson Jr. Mrs. Johnson is survived by: three children, Debra Longmire, Charles Atkins and Connie Paramenter; sister, Maxine Patterson; brother, Jimmy Holder; stepchildren, grandchildren and great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 2:00 on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd., Gastonia, officiated by the Rev. Dick Whitener. The family will receive friends 1:00 - 1:45 prior to the service on Saturday. Interment will be at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery.
