Mary Lee Dockery

Mary Lee Dockery, 74, of Gastonia, passed away surrounded by her family, Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

Mary was born September 29, 1943, in Lincoln County, daughter of the late Thomas Zack Shubert and Willie Mae Shubert.

She was a member of Southside Baptist Church, Gastonia.  She loved her family and collecting antiques.  Mary worked for Garlock for 28 years.  The family wishes to send a special thank you to Carol Davis.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Dale Dockery and wife Serita, Gene Dockery and wife Diana; daughter, Cathy Dockery and fiancé Jeff Stuart; sister, Pauline Davis; 8 grandchildren and 2 special grandchildren, Eric Haney and Dustin Cox; and 18 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Allen Dockery.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, May 31, 2018 at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Gaston Memorial Park.
