Mary Frances Cole

Mary Frances Cole, 72, of Bessemer City, passed away March 11, 2014 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. She was born January 11, 1942, native of Gaston County, daughter of the late Elijah and Mary Lou Haney. Mary attended West Fifth Avenue Freewill Baptist Church. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 pm on Thursday at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City, NC, officiated by Rev. Richard Cole. Visitation will be held 1:00 - 2:00 on Thursday at Greene Funeral Service - South Chapel. Mary is survived by: sons, Cecil Cole, Jr. and wife, Gloria, Rev. Richard Cole and wife, Janet, Bobby Cole and friend, Belinda Riddle, Michael Cole and wife, Paula, all of Bessemer City; daughters, Debbie Braswell and husband, Tommy of Bessemer City, Lynne Putnam and husband, Robert of Gastonia; brother, Carl Haney of Gastonia; sisters, Judy McFalls of Gastonia, Tonya Daniels of Gastonia, Margaret Badger of Bessemer City, Gay Hunter of Gastonia, 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Cecil Cole, Sr.; brother, Danny Haney; sisters, Beulah Dowdy and Jenny Sue Clark. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
