Mary Louise Campbell

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary Louise Campbell, a beloved sister and friend, who left us on November 8, 2025, at the age of 76. Born in Gastonia, North Carolina, Mary spent her life in Gastonia, where she was known for her unwavering faith and kind spirit.

Mary had an incredible love for the Lord and made it her mission to pray for everyone she met. With a heart as big as her smile, she never met a stranger and could light up a room with her genuine warmth. Mary was disabled most of her life but found joy in her work at Gaston Skills, where she strove to do her best every day.

Mary is survived by her brother, Johnny Campbell (Myra), two grandsons, who will hold her cherished memory close to their heart.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Hollywood Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Forrest Hennessee.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, James and Thelma Campbell, son, David Lee Bridges.
