Mary "Louise" Buchanan

Mary "Louise" Buchanan, 77, of Gastonia, went home to be with the Lord, January 4, 2017 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

She was born January 3, 1940 in Maggie Valley, the daughter of the late Roy Snipes and Laura Packett Snipes.

Louise was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband of 47 years, Charles Buchanan Sr.; son Chuck Buchanan Jr. and wife Tiffany; daughter Kay Buchanan; sisters Betty Wilson and Freida Rhinehart and husband Bill; beloved grandsons Garrett and Cole Buchanan and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Vic Wilfong will be held 2 pm Monday at Trinity United Methodist, 1513 Florida Street, Gastonia.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Interment will be in Gaston Memorial Park.
