Marty Joe Carter

Marty Joe Carter, 52, of Gastonia, passed away, Sunday, August 18, 2019 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.
He was born August 20, 1966, in McDowell County, WVA, son of the late Eugene Carter and Lucy Morgan Carter.
Marty loved camping and RZR riding with his friends.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Bridgette Stacey and Rhonda Cline.
He is survived by his wife, Angie Carter; son, Brandon Carter (Ann); daughter, Alycia Carter (fiancé, Antonio Tolliver); stepchildren that he loved like his own, Tonya Davis (Troy) and Charlie Bailey; and grandchildren, Gavin Carter, Ariya Graveley, Kalyia Carter, Haley Tolliver, Jack Davis and Luke Davis.
A celebration of life will be held 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at the home.
