Martha Wilson

Martha Magdalena Krauss Wilson, 86, of Gastonia, passed away June 5, 2016 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.

She was born April 2, 1930 in Vienna Austria.

Mrs. Wilson was a member of Unity Baptist Church in Gastonia.

Martha was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.

She enjoyed baking, canning, sewing, and pickling.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby L. Wilson; grandchildren, Matthew and Travis James Pettus.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Richard W. Price and wife Janet, Bryan K. Wilson; daughter, Evelyn P. Pettus and husband David; grandchildren, Catie, Carly, and Brandon.

A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Roger Mahthis, will be held at 2 pm Tuesday at Greene Funeral Service - West Chapel , 216 Archie Whitesides Rd., Gastonia.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be in Gaston Memorial Park.
