Marshall "Skeeter" Sutton Jr.

Gastonia, NC Marshall "Skeeter" Sutton Jr., 58, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at CaroMont Regional Med. Ctr., Gastonia. He was born January 26, 1955 in Gaston County, son of the late Marshall Sutton Sr. and Betty Williams Seagle. A funeral service will be held 11 am on Saturday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Leo Kuykendall. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm on Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Belmont, NC. Mr. Sutton is survived by: sister, Nancy Blankenship and her spouse, Ken of Stanley; niece, Christy King; nephew, Tracy Stanford; great nieces, Emma Stanford, Piper King; great nephew, Peyton Stanford. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: his step-father, Jack Junior Seagle. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
