Marshall Norris

Marshall Leroy Norris, 82, of Bessemer City, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

He was born on December 30, 1938, in Gaston County, to the late Leroy and Thelma Lane Norris.

Marshall was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He attended at South Gastonia Church of God for many years. Marshall was the former owner of the Radio Shack in Bennettsville, SC.

In addition to his parents, Marshall is preceded in death by his sister, Kathleen, and brother, David.

Left to cherish Marshall's memories are his wife, Judy Norris; sons, Bobby Norris (Laura), and Derrick Norris (Rebecca); brother, Richard Norris (Linda); four grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

A graveside service, officiated by Pastors Bobby Gilley and Derrick Norris, will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Hollywood Cemetery in Gastonia.

Judy is requesting no flowers, but any memorial contributions be made to South Gastonia Church of God – 310 Carolina Avenue, Gastonia, NC 28052.
