Marsha Anne Hargette

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marsha Anne Hargette on April 28, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on June 2, 1948, in Orlando, Florida, Marsha spent her later years in Gastonia, North Carolina, where she became a beloved member of the community.

Marsha was a proud mother to her sons, Cassidy Hargette, Corey Hargette (Stacie); grandchildren, Saige, Adia, Bryson, Olivia, Carlie, and Maddison; sister, Nancy Burr all who will forever cherish her love and support.

Marsha was preceded in death by her husband, John Hargette; parents, Jack Knight, Bernice Knight; son, Johnathan Hargette.

Always an adventurous spirit, Marsha had a zest for life that was truly infectious. She found joy in the simple pleasures-whether it was spending a day shopping, going out to eat, or hitting the golf course.

In her younger years, Marsha was an enthusiastic BMX racer and enjoyed horseback riding, always eager to push her limits and embrace new challenges. Along with her passions, she held a special place in her heart for her furry companions, Bruce, Lucy, Smokey, and Max, who brought her endless joy and companionship.

Marsha's warmth and love extended beyond her family; she had a knack for making everyone feel welcome and cherished. Her kindness and smiling face will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

All services will be held privately by the family.

Rest in peace, Marsha. Your spirit will continue to shine in the hearts of those you've touched.
