Marlene Rohm

Evelyn Marlene Rohm, 84, of Gastonia, NC, passed away on Friday, December 25, 2020 at CRMC Gastonia.

She was born on March 16, 1936, in Gaston County to the late Paul Oscar Nolen and Beulah Welch Nolen.

Marlene worked for most of her life as an inspector in the cotton textile industry.

She was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Gastonia, NC.

Marlene loved to go to the beach, square dancing and enjoyed spending quality time with her family and friends.

Her afternoons were often spent sitting on the back porch watching the birds and squirrels play.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, David Rohm, and daughter, Debi Rohm.

Left to cherish Marlene's memories are son, Mike Rohm (Melinda); daughter, Terry Rohm Rollick; brother, Gene Welch (Geneva), and two grandchildren, David Rollick and Savannah Rohm, and special son Terry Usery.

A graveside service for Mrs. Rohm officiated by Pastor Kevin Rohm, will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Long Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Dallas, NC.
