Marlan Labroan Land

Marlan LaBroan Land, 58, of Gastonia, passed away August 28, 2015 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center. A Gastonia native, he was born December 15, 1956, son of the late Melvin Land Sr. and Mary Warren Land. Marlan is survived by his wife, Brenda Land; sons, James "Jimmy" Carver, Marlan Labroan Ernest Fehlaur-Land, Travis Delmar Fehlaur-Land; daughter, Marla Faith Rich; brothers, Melvin Edison Land Jr. "Eddie", Barry Wayne Land; special niece, Donna Land; special great nephew, Maurice "Reese" Brown; numerous nieces and nephews; and six grandchildren. A funeral service, officiated by Rev. Leo Kuykendall, will be held 7 PM Wednesday at Zion Baptist Church, 2437 Propst St., Gastonia. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Zion Baptist Church, 2437 Propst St., Gastonia, NC 28056. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
